For the week of December 21, 2015

First, a big thank you to all who led and participated in our 4th Annual Christmas Carol Sing-a-Long. We filled the bar with song and good cheer. And Chimera, in kind, provided us with good beer.

But lo! There is still much celebrating to do this week as we welcome Christmas. Join us for brunch on Christmas Eve morning and then worship at Calvary or Trinity that evening. And then, we’ll be back at Chimera next Sunday for worship with Ellie Meyer to cleanse your musical palette of the incessant carols.

RSVP for the Christmas Eve Brunch. It will be hosted in the community room at Trinity Bluff apartments from 9AM to Noon. Come as you are able. You don't need to arrive right at 9 and there is no reason to stay until noon. It'll just be nice to have a chance to hang out before the hustle and bustle of the holiday.

Performing this week: Ellie Meyer will be with us on Sunday to cleanse your musical palette of all the carols.

No Brass Tap Bible Study This Week

Since so many of us will be traveling, we'll forgoe our weekly bible study at the Brass Tap.
Maybe you've heard that there are new methods for donating to Kyrie Pub Church. And maybe you have heard that we've started a new fund at Chimera to help purchase food for those who are hungry. Well, both of these rumors are true. You can now easily make a gift to Kyrie online at Or, you can give via text message by texting the word "give" to 817-369-3151 and following the link to register a form of payment. Then you simply text 'Give $5' to that same number to donate to Kyrie Pub Church. However, if you'd like to make a donation to the Care @ Chimera fund to help purchase pizza for those in the neighborhood who are hungry, you'll want to text 'Give #pizza $5' to that same number. This is the only way to make a gift to that fund as it has not been set up for online giving. For accountability reasons, Kyrie and Chimera would prefer you use these new methods of donation rather than offering a cash gift.
